The public purpose
The settlement focuses on local and household-scale climate adaptation: building a usable, shared body of knowledge about what works under particular conditions. It is intended to strengthen practical response, mutual learning, and the capacity to act together amid climate instability.
Its proposed knowledge-refinement loop moves from signals and discussion to a durable knowledge vault, then to guides, trials, and new evidence. That loop is described in Proof of Adaptation.
